New Bohemian Rhapsody book!
Fri, Jan 24th, 2025
I have been asked to share this with you! Sounds fascinating!!

The very first Queen song I ever heard was Ogre Battle in 1974. I immediately bought the album Queen 2, and I became an instant Queen fan. One year later the band were to release a single to promote their new album (A Night At The Opera) which stunned and caught everyone ‘off guard’, and that song, of course, was the renowned Bohemian Rhapsody. Such is its legendary status; I had to write a book in honour of this captivating composition called - Bohemian Rhapsody: 50 Glorious Years. There was never really anything like it at the time in 1975, and I would say categorically, there still has never been anything like it in its structure and originality up to this very day.
In this book I cover everything - from the song’s inception to live performances, from its enduring popularity to what Queen fans and non-Queen fans think of this illustrious masterpiece, and so much more, including a quiz on the song itself, and the album that it was taken from, which will challenge the most ardent Queen fan! Bohemian Rhapsody truly stands the test of time, and very few songs can claim such an accolade. ‘Bo Rhap’ as it’s become known to fans runs through the legacy of pop/rock music to shatter all other popular musical works into submission as the peak of what a true musical tour de force really is. With 2025 here, it is appropriate and worthy to celebrate the majestic and imposing Bohemian Rhapsody in its 50thglorious year! This book is available from any Amazon site world-wide. It is available to download to a smartphone, tablet or a Kindle or as a paperback. John Wing
