I was original Musical Supervisor and Musical Director for We Will Rock You and I have recently published a book about my life and career where I talk about the whole evolution of the show and its development. 
I also talk about what it is like to work so closely with Roger and Brian and I wondered if you might be able to share with your fan club as I am sure some people would be interested to know what that whole experience was like! There are over twenty pages devoted to my Rock You and Jubilee Concert experiences...
 
Here is a little taster from the book:
 
In the summer of 2001 I had a call to go and meet a certain rock guitarist, his manager and a theatre director. It was to talk about my possible involvement in a new show based on the music of Queen and written by comedy genius, Ben Elton. I had my meeting in Paddington with Brian May, Jim Beach and Chris Renshaw and I felt that the meeting had gone pretty well. As is normal in our business this was followed by silence. Silence for over two weeks and then suddenly a phone call asking if I would like to be Musical Supervisor and Musical Director on the show. I remember hearing once that the best part of ANY job is the moment when you are told that you have got it. Well, strictly speaking, that is true but in this case being told that I was to work on We Will Rock You was the start of an adventure that kept giving for a considerable amount of time.
