M-MEDIA WORKS and QUEEN PRODUCTIONS LTD., announce the newly created 'Bohemian Rhapsody: The Queen Exhibition’ will debut in Seoul for three months from July 7th to October 6th .

The overwhelming worldwide appeal of Queen/Fox Films ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ which has turned it in to the highest grossing music biopic of all time - $900 million and still counting – is already beginning to spur spin-offs for audiences still fanatical for the film.

The first off comes from Korea where the film attracted more than 9.9 million spectators. Local events company M-Media, together with Queen Productions Ltd, the official management behind the band, has just announced ‘Bohemian Rhapsody: The Queen Exhibition’. Coming close to the milestone half a

century since Queen released their first single – ‘Keep Yourself Alive’ on July 6, 1973’ - the exhibition will open July 7 for a three month window at Seoul’s ARA Art Center.

The first of its kind in Korea, the exhibition will through audio & visual exhibitions of band and film related memorabilia allow the opportunity to revisit the excitement generated for Queen and Freddie Mercury by the film. In addition, specially commissioned interactive art that interprets a handful of

legendary Queen songs in contemporary form will be unveiled in a specially designed 3,300 square meter space.

Advance reservations for the exhibition are available from June 3 at Interpark with a 30% discount for first 5,000 first-come first-serve applicants and valid until 31 June.

The exhibition will benefit the Mercury Phoenix Trust, the HIV/AIDS charity organization set up by Queen band members Brian May and Roger Taylor with manager Jim Beach following the death of Freddie Mercury.

Says manager and MPT Trustee Jim Beach “I am delighted that our first official ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ exhibition will take place in Seoul for Korean fans who took the film and band to their hearts so enthusiastically and hope Korea enjoys revisiting the film and discovering more about Freddie Mercury and

Queen through the displays and specially created art works.”
