Queen + Adam Lambert to play in Helsinki in June 2016
Legendary band returns to Finland after 40 years!
Finnish Music fans have an opportunity to witness a unique concert when Queen - one of the greatest rock bands of all time -arrives in Finland after a 40 year gap. Queen in its present line up featuring Adam Lambert are playing in Helsinki Kaissaniemi Park on Friday 3 June. At the same time the concert is the opening of new and modern City Festival Park Live and the line up of the Festival will expand during the next couple of months.

Park Live festival will be a premium event with champagne bars and luxurious decor - it truly will be a premium event with unique music from the very top world artists. The event has no age restrictions but alcohol will be served on the premises.
Queen has played in Finland only once before - at the House of Culture November 1974. Guitar player Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor are still present from that original line up. Since 2009 Adam Lambert has stepped into the role of lead vocalist after the passing of Freddie Mercury in 1991. Since 2009 Queen and Adam Lambert have performed at live concerts and television spectacles. Last year the band did a highly acclaimed and sold out 24 day tour of America. This year Queen and Adam Lambert had performed at 26 sold out concerts all over Europe and rest of the world. Based on praising reviews Adam Lambert has proved a perfect fit to assume this demanding role of band front man.
